Long before Kasina became a hotel, our family’s name was already trusted in Amhara region Debre Markos Ethiopia through beloved establishments such as Habesha Restaurant, Camellia Café and Pizza House, and the original Kasina Restaurant. These ventures were more than businesses they were places where people gathered, celebrated, and felt at home. Through them, we mastered the art of hospitality and learned what truly makes an experience unforgettable. On January 29, 2020, we brought this legacy to the heart of Addis Ababa with the opening of Kasina as a restaurant. Soon after, the world faced the unprecedented challenge of the COVID-19 pandemic. Like many in the industry, we were compelled to pause but never to abandon our vision. Instead, we used this period to reflect, strengthen our foundation, and carefully plan what Kasina could become. Today, Kasina has returned stronger, refined, and transformed.
